Colonial Candle

Copper Collection

In collaboration with Colonial Candle’s Brand Director (Amanda Lowe), we created this product collection from concept to launch for Colonial Candle—from developing product ideas and sourcing samples; to designing the labels, boxes, and dust covers; to photographing both stylized and isolated product images for e-commerce. This was a fully hands-on, end-to-end design process, bringing a trend-forward brand collection to life.

Concept Design

01

The first step toward bringing this collection to life was concept designs. In close coordination with the Sales and Sourcing teams, we determined the best selection of vessels, sizes, and fragrances, then compared and confirmed the factory's capabilities within our target costs.

Styled Photography

02

After the collection was fully developed and approved, I gathered our best samples with a few props, packed my photography equipment, and borrowed a friend's kitchen for a product photoshoot.

Isolated Photography

03

While I was getting started with styled photography, the factory started production on each item and fragrance variation in the set. Two of each came straight to my studio, to create these isolated shots for e-commerce.

Advertising

04

Last but not least, the photography was put to good use - e-mails, website banners, marketing graphics, print advertising, and B2B/ D2C resources like sales sheets, catalogs, and POG's.

This remarketing set was created in collaboration with Kelsey Courville.
